Challenge #278 ~ Beachy Keen

Good Wednesday morning. Time for a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  This is Heather and it is my turn to hostess our challenge this week.

I know we all come from many parts of the world but here in Canada it has been a bitterly cold Winter and I am sure many of you are tired of it. This week's theme is a chance to escape it for a little while ~

BEACHY KEEN ~ warm, Summery projects.

Anything to do with summer ~ a beach, flip flops, pool ~ you get the picture. Make me feel warm!

I used this wonderful image from Stamping Bella, paired her up with a matching sentiment from High Hopes and used some bright colours as well.  Summer here we come!!

For more inspiration check out what the other girlfriends have done and come back to link up your BEACHY KEEN projects this week so we all know Summer is on its way.  I look forward to visiting you all.

Challenge #277 Favorites

Hi Everyone! Okay, so my first time posting as a member of the Design Team wasn't too bad was it - the round challenge wasn't as bad as all that, lol.
It's a challenge that I don't always do, don't really care to do, if I'm being honest, so I like to challenge myself and go outside the box.

It's time to share my favorites from this weeks entries!

Bettina
I just love the way she used her flowers to accent the circle.

Mary J
I love her use of the sequins (also round)

Maureen
such a cute card, and a mini-tutorial to go along with it for masking

Challenge #277 - Round and Round We Go

Hello Everyone, Collette here ... It's my turn to host.

Welcome to another fun challenge!!
It's Week #277, and this week, it's

Round and Round and Round You Go

(Careful not to get dizzy!)  In other words ... No square/right angles on any of your layers ... Think circles, ovals (even rounded corners, I suppose, lol, but no 90* corners) ... This is a challenge for me too, so lets see what you can all do...

I used a Saturated Canary image and my spellbinders to cut out the image and a scalloped panel.  The larger card (about 5.5 inch around) was cut with my Creative Memories cutting system (yes, I still have it).  I added a round doily that I sponged with a light blue and then added some heart dies from Memory Box which I then added diamond stickles to the starbursts inside.

As always, you can use any image or stamp or dies for this challenge.

Excited to see what you all come up with.  Make sure to use the In Linkz below to post your project from your blog.

Challenge #276 Favorites - Winter Washi Land

Hi Everyone!

It's time to share my favorites from this weeks entries!  And I can't lie...it's pretty exciting!  Three projects just wowed me for sure and I am sharing them below.  It is fun that each is
so different in style.  I guess that's the versatility of Washi tape.

Three cheers for:

Challenge #276 - Winter Washi Land

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to another fun challenge!!

Do you love Washi tape?  Well, I sure do and I have the stash to prove it!  So this week, let's all walk through a Winter Washi Land together.  Use your Washi tape on a card and be sure to link it up below.

For my card I covered a large area of white card stock with rows of coordinating Washi tape.  Then I took the piece and nested four heart dies together and ran them through my die cutting machine.  The first one is inlaid into the background (also die cut) and then the next two are popped up with black fun foam (also die cut).  They stack beautifully!  The final black heart is cut from the background paper which is black flock.  I added a few finishing touches and I am in love with this card!

What will you create with your Washi tape?  Be sure to join in the fun and share your project with us. And be sure to visit the other girlfriends' blogs to see what they have created to share with you.

#275 Peek A Boo Favourites!!

Well, it is time to share my favourites from this weeks entries! I love this part :)

I must admit, I was a little surprised that we didn't see a few more entries for this challenge.  Who doesn't like a little window in a card?  Anyways, the entries we did get were awesome.

Congratulations to.......

Thank you so much for playing along with us.  Visit tomorrow and check out Susie's challenge.

#275 - Peek A Boo

Welcome to another fun challenge!!

This week, I thought it would be fun to play 'peek a boo'.  What I mean is......your card should have some sort of window in it.  It doesn't have to be a 'real' window.....just something you can peek through.

Here is my card.....I created a background with cloud windows.

I hope you will join in the fun and share your creation with us :)

Link up below and be sure to visit the other girlfriends blogs to see what they created.
